Edwards Africa Exports, is a privately owned company that specializes in the export of Rooibos Tea from South Africa to all destinations worldwide. The company was established in 2007, (Reg. no. 2007/175131/23), and is based in Umhlanga Rocks, in the port city of Durban, South Africa. The company supplies the LAAGER brand of Rooibos Tea, the range being the Original Rooibos Tea, Rooibos Herbal Teas and Tea4Kids Rooibos. These LAAGER Rooibos teas are produced by Joekels Tea Packers (Pty) Ltd, situated in Pinetown, near Durban.

Edwards Africa is contracted to Joekels Tea Packers to market and manage the global supply of LAAGER Rooibos Tea Products

The two partners of the company are Richard Edwards and Elizabeth Edwards. Richard Edwards has extensive knowledge and experience of international trade, having previously worked at director level for a multinational freight forwarder for over 25 years. Elizabeth has extensive international business experience having been the general manager of a listed tour operator for 13 years. Both partners have a very strong commitment to customer service and a hands on, customer focused approach.

The company is a member of the Durban Chamber of Commerce and the Department of Trade and Industries in Pretoria.

We provide our customers with expertise and advice on the most efficient and economical methods of packing for export, either per case load shipments, per pallet load or per full container load.

We provide a full shipping service from ex factory to worldwide destinations, to CIF Port, and provide detailed quotations from ex factory to CIF your nominated port.
